Giant pandas live in the remote mountain forests of China, primarily in the provinces of Sichuan, Shaanxi, and Gansu. These high-altitude regions, ranging from 1,200 to 3,500 meters, offer cool temperatures and a dense bamboo supply—ideal conditions for their way of life.

Giant pandas live for about 15 to 20 years in the wild, but can reach up to 30 years in zoos due to better care.
Size
Giant pandas reach a length of 1.2 to 1.9 meters and weigh 70 to 120 kilograms, with particularly large specimens able to weigh up to 160 kilograms.
